The problem with PC security is not that there are 1.5 billion PCs in the world. There are more Android phones and as many iOS devices without causing the same security challenges. It’s the Windows operating system.
Today almost every new application for the desktop is web-based. Many of them are SaaS. But even the custom and proprietary applications written by customers are web-based. You can access these applications from a browser on any device, including Macs and Chromebooks.
