In order to increase the security of an enterprise browser on an unmanaged, untrusted or BYO device, IT needs to be able to do some basic validation of the security posture of the device.
Before a user’s device can access the enterprise browser, a posture check can verify that the device meets corporate security requirements, such as Windows updates, antivirus implemented, firewall, network, and more. IT can set up rules to warn end users about non-compliance or to block all access. Customizable messages allow IT to guide end users on corrective action and how to seek assistance.
