“Our partnership with Workspot provides our mutual customers a secure and high-performance solution for accessing digital workspaces, whether on-premises, in the cloud, or web-based,” said Jim Airdo, Senior Vice President of Strategic Alliances at IGEL, provider of the secure endpoint OS for now and next. “By integrating Workspot into the IGEL App Portal, we’re delivering a cost-effective alternative to traditional VDI, outfitting IT teams with seamless management tools and reducing end-user computing costs.”

“Global footprints can complicate the end-user device strategy for our customers,” said Jimmy Chang, Chief Product Officer at Workspot. “But Workspot customers deliver enterprise VDI globally from a combination of public and private clouds to achieve the highest levels of end-user computing performance and lowest TCO while ensuring compliance with global regulations. We are introducing the latest Workspot Client for IGEL OS-powered devices, allowing our mutual customers to greatly simplify and secure their edge computing footprints. This means customers can access the latest features of IGEL OS 12 together with Workspot’s enterprise VDI delivered from Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and private clouds.”

The Workspot Client, now validated for IGEL OS-powered devices through the IGEL Ready Program, is available via the IGEL App Portal. This provides enterprises with faster application deployment, seamless updates, and enhanced IT efficiency, all delivered as a cloud-based service.
