Video: Siemens NX Corvette Running on a Workspot Cloud Workstation

NX on the Cloud with Workspot Workstations on Microsoft Azure

In this demo we’re running the latest Siemens NX software completely in the cloud, on a GPU-accelerated Workspot cloud workstation running on Azure. We can see our connection shows good bandwidth with low latency.

Right away we see how responsive the user experience feels. The mouse clicks and screen updates happen without delay. It feels like the application is running on my local device.

We can click through the multi-thousand-part assembly, highlight various sub-assemblies such as the electrical system, select the proper display mode, and then pierce-through each sub assembly throughout the Corvette model.

With typical internet speed, connecting to a Workspot cloud workstation in your region, you’ll see responsiveness just like I’m seeing here – navigating through sections of the Corvette, zooming in and out, rotating the Corvette, highlighting specific components, all with fine detailed control.

Increased performance, productivity and flexibility are what you’ll see working from anywhere.
